Malik is a proud member of the community, a parent, and a volunteer. He is more than aware of the issues Calgarians are facing, as well as the action that must be taken to fix these issues. He has always aimed to serve the community he called his home, spending thousands of hours volunteering at community centers and charities, running for School Board Trustee (Wards 5 & 10), and spearheading the creation of an 80,000 square foot education facility set to open its doors in September 2024.

Now he aims to bring together his passion, dedication, experience, and education, and serve his community at an even greater capacity.
